
Aneri Dirksen, a 23-year-old all-rounder, has secured her first central contract with Cricket South Africa for the 2025-26 season. All-rounder Deleme Tucker and batsman Lara Goodall were not included in the 15-player list announced on Monday. Aneri made her ODI and Test debut in 2024 and has since played two Tests and four ODIs. She also won the ICC Emerging Women’s Player of the Year award in 2024 for her impressive all-round performance. She played her first T20 International match for South Africa in January 2023.
Speaking about the latest contract list, Enoch Nkwye, CSA Executive: National Teams and High Performance, said: “We are proud to announce the Proteas Women’s contracted squad for the 2025/26 season. This group reflects the depth, talent and potential of women’s cricket in South Africa. This is a special moment for Aneri Dirksen, whose performances have been impressive and she has cemented her place in the team by earning her first national contract.”
